I’m A Celebrity 2017: Which Celebs Are Entering The Jungle?
The countdown for I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here 2017 is well and truly on!
Last year, the series was a huge ratings success for ITV, with millions tuning in to see Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt, crowned Queen of the Jungle. The audience peak for the 2016 finale reached a huge 11.4 million.
Geordie’s Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly return to present the fifteenth series – The show wouldn’t be the same without them!
WAG Queen Rebekah Vardy has been spotted arriving at Brisbane Airport – A source tells us she’s feeling incredibly anxious about being away from her four children and husband Leicester City footballer Jamie Vardy for so long.
YouTube star Jack Maynard was the first to sign up for I’m A Celebrity – Jack is the younger brother of pop star Conor Maynard and regularly appears alongside him during interviews.
Georgia Toffolo who was a huge hit on Celebs Go Dating has signed up for I’m A Celebrity – No doubt Toff will provide this years ‘bikini shot’.
Former Chelsea captain Dennis Wise managed to keep this one quiet as no-one suspected he was heading into the jungle until he arrived at the airport. Dennis played alongside Vinnie Jones in the 80s and 90s and developed a reputation for being somewhat difficult thanks to his fiery temper.
On arrival at the airport Vanessa White, The Saturdays star said: “I am really excited to be here, it is my first time in Australia, I can’t wait to take part. I am scared of everything though, so I am also a bit nervous. It’s a bit of a mixture of nerves and excitement.”
We at LS HQ are delighted that the Corrie actress, Jennie McAlpine is a contestant – ITV bosses have been begging her to take part for years. After she touched down at Brisbain, she told the paps that she would be returning to Corrie in the New Year. She said: “This is just a little holiday. What is happening to Fiz whilst I am away? That is a good question.”
Actor Jamie Lomas has just finished filming his final scenes as Warren Fox for Hollyoaks and so is now ready to focus on his time in the jungle.
Bolton Boxer Amir Khan has also signed up, amid reports that he’s signed up for the series to “stay out of trouble”. Khan should be quite entertaining as it’s rumoured he is scared of everything… yes really!
And probably the most surprising addition to the line-up this series is Boris Johnson’s Dad Stanley. The 77-year-old former Conservative MEP was spotted arriving at Brisbane Airport ahead of the series launch.
Our very own Lady Showbiz has worked with Boxer Amir Khan, and interviewed other contestants – so we are sure she will have her own favourites on the show…
