Icon Actress Carrie Fisher Dies :

Carrie Fisher, the iconic actress best known as Star Wars‘ Princess Leia Organa, has died after suffering a heart attack, she was 60.

Fisher was flying from London to Los Angeles on Friday, December 23, when she went into cardiac arrest. Paramedics removed her from the flight and rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was treated for a heart attack, where she later died in the hospital.

The daughter of showbiz veteran Debbie Reynolds and entertainer Eddie Fisher will be sorely missed.

Singer George Michael Has Died :

Singer George Michael has died aged 53, his publicist confirmed.
The star who launched his career with Wham in the 1980s and later continued his success as a solo performer is said to have “passed away peacefully at home”.

Thames Valley Police said South Central Ambulance Service attended a property in Goring in Oxfordshire at 13:42 GMT. Police say there were no suspicious circumstances.

Michael, who was born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou in north London, sold more than 100m albums throughout a career spanning almost four decades.

In a statement, the star’s publicist said: “It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period.

“The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage.”

Paloma Faith Gives Birth To Baby Boy :

Paloma Faith gives birth to a baby boy, welcoming her first child with long-term boyfriend with Leyman Lahcine ‘I am over the moon, in love and delighted after enduring a ‘difficult labour’. The couple are totally ‘in love’ with their new arrival.

The star has been dating Leyman for a few years, confessing in 2015 in an interview with The Telegraph that she had never been happier.
‘I enjoy working hard but I’ve never been in a relationship before that’s made me as happy as I am now’, she enthused.

Paloma announced the news by posting a photo of a handwritten letter in which she revealed she endured a ‘difficult labour’ and required an emergency caesarean.


‘What a trip! It was all with the help of some incredible doctors, midwives and nurses at UCH NHS Hospital.’

‘The devotion, kindness and commitment shown by all of them was second to none and I am humbled by the whole experience.

‘I really believe the NHS to be one of the greatest achievements of this country, and it should be respected and protected by all’.

‘I am humbled by the unfaltering dedication I witnessed and received there.
‘So thank you to the NHS, Melissa Whitten, Georgia Seiti, Wendy Hill, all in the Fetal Assessement Unit and the Maternity Care Units. And god bless the NHS!’

During her pregnancy, Paloma, 35, kept a relatively low profile and didn’t share any updates or bump photos.

Earlier this year Paloma revealed her news in a post which read ‘So the good news is my 4th album is well underway and I am very excited about it. It’s actually nearly finished as I type. I have been working with the amazing Jesse Shatkin on it as producer and it has been a real honour. It is called “The Architect” and is very aptly named as it leads me on to my next announcement.’

I am so delighted to tell you I am going to take a short while off to have a baby. I have spent my whole life wanting to be a mother and now the time has come for me to do so I feel so lucky.’

Actor Andrew Sachs Has Died Aged 86 :

Andrew Sachs, the actor best known for playing Manuel the bemused Spanish waiter has died aged 86.

John Cleese the bullying hotelier in the BBC comedy series Fawlty Towers, led tributes to his co-star, describing him as a “brilliant farceur” and a “sweet, sweet man”.

Sachs’s wife, Melody Lang, revealed that he died in a care home last week after suffering from vascular dementia for four years.

She said, “My heart has been broken every day for a long time,” she said, explaining that she had collapsed while caring for her husband. Nevertheless, she said they were happy, adding that she “never once heard him grumble”.

Cheryl Cole Spotted With Prominent Bump :

Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne were spotted out on a visit to the Fayre of St James Carol Concert in London – and Cheryl appeared to have a very prominent baby bump.
