Abba To Reunite In 2017 :

Pop group Abba reunite for a new digital entertainment project.

Full details of their new project will be announced in 2017.

The group announced that they will work with music manager Simon Fuller, who rose to fame managing the Spice Girls, on what is being described as a “ground-breaking venture that will utilise the very latest in digital and virtual reality technology”.

The Swedish pop group have not formally performed together since they split up more than 30 years ago but did appear at a 50th anniversary party in June.

Abba’s biggest hits include Waterloo, Dancing Queen, Super Trouper and Mamma Mia.

Their music was adapted into the successful theatre show, Mamma Mia which was also turned into a 2008 film featuring Meryl Streep, Julie Walters and Pierce Brosnan.

This entertainment project will involve virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and has been described as a “new entertainment experience”.

Singer Pete Burns Dies Aged 57 :

The singer Pete Burns, who founded pop group Dead Or Alive, has died of a cardiac arrest aged 57.

Burns rose to fame in the 1980s with the band’s hit song ‘You Spin Me Round’ (Like a Record). In 2006 he appeared on Channel 4 in Celebrity Big Brother, coming fifth in the final.

A statement released by his partner, Michael Simpson, his ex-wife, Lynne Corlett, and his manager and former band member, Steve Coy, read: “All of his family and friends are devastated by the loss of our special star. He was a true visionary, a beautiful talented soul and will be missed by all those who loved and appreciated everything he was and all of the wonderful memories he has left us with.”

Amanda Holden Rushes To Sister’s Bedside After Serious Car Crash :

Actress Amanda Holden is at her sister’s bedside after she was involved in a serious car crash leaving her in intensive care.

Her younger sister Debbie was involved in a crash in Cornwall on Thursday morning. No-one else is thought to have been injured.

The 44-year old, who escaped the earthquake in Nepal in April last year, is in a critical, but stable condition in intensive care.

A source told LS HQ the family is now hoping Debbie will ‘make a full recovery’ and is ‘out of the worst’.

Kim Kardashian-West Robbed At Gunpoint :

US reality TV star Kim Kardashian West has been robbed at gunpoint while staying at a luxury residence in Paris.

A police source has confirmed the attack was carried out by five men wearing police-style jackets.

The men forced the building’s overnight security guard to show them where Kardashian West was staying.

Once inside, one of the men put a gun to her head while they robbed her of jewellery including a ring worth €4m, they then tied her up and locked her in a bathroom while they made their escape.

According to the police officer, the men fled the scene on bicycles
A spokeswoman for the star said she was “badly shaken but physically unharmed”.

A police spokesman said a box containing jewellery worth up to €6m [£5.2m; $6.7m] was among the items taken.

The mother-of-two – who became a household name thanks to the reality series ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ has now left France were she was attending Paris Fashion Week.
