Madonna Falls BRITS 2015 :

Madonna falls off stage the incident occurred at the end of a ceremony where Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith took the honours, winning two awards each.

An average of 5.3 million people tuned in to the ceremony on ITV, according to the overnight ratings, rising to 5.8 million when ITV+1 viewers are added in.

This is up from the 4.6 million who tuned in last year, however less than 2013’s overnight audience of 6.5 million.

Madonna took a backward tumble, legs akimbo and ‘fell’ on the lyric “I let down my guard, I fell into your arms” and was back on her feet to sing “now that it’s over, I’m going to carry on”.

Over-shadowing the ‘WINNERS’ of BRITS 2015, and dominating the press, not to mention media, we at LS HQ, believe that it was totally orchestrated (we’ve seen Madge do worse) for PR.

Ray Quinn Winner of Get Your Act Together :

Ray Quinn, The Winner of last nights ‘Get Your Act Together’, ITV, showed he is a consummate professional, with endless talent. A ‘perfectionist and very self-critical’, the 26yr old delivered a flawless, variety of impressions alongside Deborah Stephens, including Alan Carr, Louis Spence, Michael Mcintyre and Sir Paul McCartney.

I caught up with Quinn for a chat, surprisingly he revealed the only impressions he had done prior to the show, were ‘taking the mick out of family members’ and ‘after couple of lagers down me grid’… ha

Discussing everything from Dancing on Ice, he won TWICE, to X Factor, Quinn said he ‘would not recommend fourteen year olds’ to enter X Factor due to ‘tough, exposed industry’.

Quinn received flack in the media, for his honest remarks about the industry, no chat show would give him the opportunity to tell you about his new music, ‘sadly it’s the same people on the sofa’s all the time’, he says.

LS HQ applauds Quinn for his honesty, he is only saying what everyone in the industry is thinking and knowing to be true – it is a very ‘closed shop’, and very frustrating for an Artist (and Manager)

Quinn is focusing on his main passion, music, which initially ‘sparked his career’, his new single ‘They Say Love’ is out today, a new album is on the way, not to mention a book release ‘This Time Round’, which he promises will reveal more of himself, than shown on reality tv.

We at LS HQ, love the new single and new musical direction, we wish the very talented, and one of the nicest guys in showbiz the best of success …

Calvin Harris Strips For Armani :

DJ, Calvin Harris has stripped to his underwear for a new ad campaign for Armani.

As well as fronting their underwear campaign, Harris is also the face of their eyewear and watch collection.

Armani said: ‘Calvin Harris is a truly cosmopolitan, dynamic young man who is capable of attracting the masses with his music and energy.

‘He isn’t a model by nature, and this creates a more sincere and engaging bond with the public.

Kerrrrching …

Lady GaGa Is Engaged :

Lady Gaga has announced her engagement to Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney.

The pop artist posted a message on her Instagram account which read: “He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said YES!”

The couple met on the set of Gaga’s You & I music video, in 2011.

Lady Gaga is due to perform at this Sunday’s Academy Awards.

Steve Strange, Visage lead singer, dies aged 55

Steve Strange, lead singer of 1980’s pop band Visage, has died following a heart attack.

The New Romantic icon, best known for chart hit Fade To Grey, died in hospital in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

Boy George, pictured above with Strange, tweeted he was “heartbroken” about the death, saying he was “such a big part of my life”

He had suffered ill-health, although nothing life threatening, including in December last year when he was admitted to Princess of Wales Hospital, in Bridgend, with a bronchial infection and an intestinal blockage.

Georgia May Foote has ended her engagement :

Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote, 24yrs has called time on her romance with long-term love, and childhood sweetheart, plumber John Sage, ending their engagement.

The news comes just weeks before she films her final scenes for the soap, after almost five years as Katy Armstrong.

The Infinities :

The Infinities, are sending shockwaves throughout the music industry, being hailed as the Next Big Thing and likened to One Direction.

Don’t be misguided though, this four piece Rock/Pop band from Nottinghamshire, James, Ryan, Charlie and Ollie (brothers) are all accomplished musicians, songwriters, who came together as friends.

Currently writing their album and with a debut single set for a summer release, these boys are definitely Ones To Watch.

Madonna Returns To The Stage :

The Pop Icon returned to the stage yesterday to perform new single ‘Living for Love’.

As per, Madge was out to shock, on stage she dressed as a matador, simulating sex acts with male dancers wearing masks, while off stage, she flashed her ass.

Even though she is heading to her sixties, Madge is showing no sign of covering up.

We at LS HQ think she should receive an ASBO

Madonna’s new album Rebel Heart is due for release in March.

Frank Lampard Book Release :

Frank Lampard releases ‘Frankie’s New York Adventure today, in his childrens book series’Frankie’s Magic Football’.

Lady Showbiz caught up with Frank at his UK book signing, Waterstones, Trafford Centre, Manchester.
