Jay James has been voted off The X Factor after finding himself in the bottom two once again and losing in the sing off to Stevi Ritchie.

Last night Jay performed “New York” by Frank Sinatra and he took to the stage first with his lack luster version of Keane’s “Somewhere Only We Know” before Stevi fought for his place in the competition with an energetic version of Queen’s “Somebody To Love”.

Jay was sent home, with the public deciding to save the better entertainer and the act the judges said they would “miss more”.

We at LS HQ found the burlesque dancer in the glass more entertaining than Jay (Sorry Jay)

X Factor 2014 results : Lola Saunders sent home after a deadlock with Stereo Kicks

In a bid to shake things up Simon announced that two acts would be voted off The X Factor this Halloween weekend – wildcard Lola Saunders joined Jack Walton in a shock double elimination.

Lola nailed it with her version of Natural Woman – but maybe it was a wrong song choice, dated and overly used ?!

Simon voted for her, however Stereo Kicks impressed more with a rocky Perfect which Mel thought was great!

Voting went to deadlock and the results revealed Lola Saunders had sadly received the least amount of public votes.

So as the fishmonger leaves the show this means that Stevi Ritchie is the only wild card act left. Frightening (or fishy) that the so called likeable chappie with little talent is still in the show and has a chance of winning. Eeek!

As for Lola, we at LS HQ think she has a bright future ahead – just look at Ella Henderson.

jack Sadly Jack was voted out after receiving the fewest public votes on Saturday, his version of Bleeding Love did leave us at LS HQ feeling a little bemused.
